6 // TECHNOLOGY CARRYING SYSTEMS Tasmanian Tiger has the required backpack for every use and every type of back. The type of carrying system a user requires should play a central role in their pack selection. The carrying system needs to be a good match both to the specific load requirements and especially to the person carrying it. Our backpacks provide a variety of practical attachment possibilities. X1-SYSTEM The X1 System was developed specifically for bulky, heavy loads. Our packs that are designed for large loads, to be carried over long distances and for longer duration hikes feature the X-1 technology. The X-1 System works based on a system that stabilizes and redistributes the pack weight: A Two ergonomically shaped, crossed aluminum bars in frame channels transfer part of the carrying load laterally to the B specially padded hip strap transferring the load from the back to the hips. The anatomically positioned, ultra-comfortable hip strap consists of a multi-layered hip fin with a reinforcement panel in PE. C The deflected belt strap makes it easier to tighten and set in position. D A short, anatomically shaped aluminum rod behind the hip fins guarantees the optimum fit. G The back padding above it is ultra-concave in shape, sewn into chambers for better ventilation, and rests perfectly against the back with its generous technical padding. H The load control straps can be partially attached in two different positions for optimum setting. I Soft, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps with height adjustment increase the level of comfort. J The lid is height adjustable. LOADS OVER: 55LB | 25KG V2-SYSTEM Size-adjustable carrying system for medium to heavy loads. The V2 System is designed for versatility and is featured in our medium sized bags where loads are likely to vary between moderate to heavy. The design of the V-2 Carrying system allows for easy adjustment to maximize ergonomic benefits based on the load size. A Two aluminum bars forming an inverted “V“ plus two short fiberglass reinforced bars for additional support form the central static unit. B The two fiberglass reinforced bars lead from the inner aluminum frame channels laterally into the C hip wings. The dimensions and arrangement of these reinforced bars result in an excellent combination of efficient load transmission and system flexibility. Three-part ergonomically shaped hip strap consists of a central lumbar pad with a two conically shaped hip wings. D Several layers of comfortable padding are reinforced with a PE panel and can easily be tightened using a deflected belt strap. E The technical back padding consists of a number of chambers, and is conically shaped to ensure the optimum position and contact with the backpack. F The load control straps and G the ergonomically shaped shoulder straps can be attached in different positions for optimum adjustment. H The lid is also height-adjustable.
